I’ve always loved music..not just as sound, but as a language that has carried me through every season of my life. Gospel, R&B, and soul have been the heartbeat of my journey, giving words to emotions I couldn’t always speak and wrapping me in melodies when silence felt too heavy.

Like Maya Angelou once said, “Music is my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness”. I let them move me and heal me. Each song holds layers, different meanings depending on where I stand in life. Some days, a lyric feels like a mirror. Other days, like a prayer.

This space is my way of honoring that connection. Each entry reflects the soundtrack of my present moment. Sometimes a song helps me process joy, love, or growth; other times it helps me sit with pain, healing, or stillness. Music has always been how I make sense of what I’m feeling right now, and this blog is where I share those connections. Soul on Stereo is not just my journey..it’s an invitation to walk with me, track by track, and find yourself in the music too.
